Job summary

Premise Health is partnering with Subaru of Indiana Automotive and is seeking a PRN Fitness Center Receptionist for the Lafayette, IN site. This as-needed role covers multiple shifts and focuses on member reception, scheduling, and general front-desk duties at the health center.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus relevant front-office or medical settings training. Prior front desk and customer service experience, especially in medical offices, is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school with concentration in front office support for medical settings preferred.
• At least 3 years experience in a front desk/customer service related field required.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and maintains a filing system for members.
• Answers telephone and directs inquiries to appropriate personnel.
• Schedules appointments and enters appointment date/time into scheduling system.
• Greets and directs members, salespeople, and visitors.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work.
• Identifies and solves problems by gathering and analyzing information.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal and listening skills, remaining open to ideas.
• Maintains professionalism and treats others with respect.
• Follows through on commitments.
• Provides strong customer service and handles difficult situations calmly.
• Completes annual competencies as required.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
