Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• External applicants: two years of related nursing experience.
• Internal applicants with less than two years' experience may be considered with review.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications or willing to obtain within specified timeframe.
• TNCC/ENPC or equivalent preferred or willing to obtain within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and orders.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
• Coordinate discharge needs and education.
• Maintain professional growth through ongoing education.
