Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• One year of acute care RN or Emergency Department experience.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS certifications upon hire or within one year.
• TNCC or ENPC completion upon hire or within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
