Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks an RN for the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital in Canton. The role involves delivering direct patient care, coordinating nursing plans, and communicating patient conditions in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in ongoing education and maintain required certifications while adapting to variable shifts and a 12:00am–11:30pm schedule, contributing to exceptional patient experiences and teamwork within a renowned health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - within 1 year of employment.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification - within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education.
