Job summary

Medcor is seeking EMTs and Paramedics for PRN, on-site roles at construction sites in Plano, Fort Worth, and Midlothian, TX. Flexible hours with no guaranteed shifts, requiring the ability to travel among Dallas–Fort Worth locations as needed.

Responsibilities include on-site patient care, first aid, and assisting with safety and return-to-work programs. Training and independent decision-making are valued in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• EMT or Paramedic certification and CPR/BLS required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable in an active construction environment and able to climb stairs.
• Able to lift a 50-pound emergency response bag and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per MCPs.
• Provide first aid and emergency response as needed.
• Support workers' compensation case management and RTW programs.
• Collaborate with onsite safety professionals, client leadership, and outside providers.
• Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Document patient care in electronic medical records.
• Support onsite employee health and injury prevention initiatives.
• Assist with OSHA record-keeping and general clinic operations.
