Job summary

Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in DeKalb, IL. Hours are Monday-Friday 6am-5pm with occasional Saturdays.

The job involves patient care, case management, RTW program facilitation, and close collaboration with medical and operational leadership. Applicants should be comfortable in a construction environment, able to climb stairs and lift a 50 lb bag, and possess strong verbal/written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid EMT or Paramedic licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and work at heights.
• Comfort in construction environments and ability to operate in a clinic at a job site.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at the on-site clinic.
• Documentation of care using EMR and other tools.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and RTW program facilitation.
• Collaborate with medical and operational leadership and outside providers.
