Job summary

Medcor is seeking an EMT or Paramedic to join our on-site clinic at a construction site in Del Valle, TX on a PRN basis. Hours are 6am–6pm, Monday–Saturday, with shifts that vary by client needs.

Applicants should be comfortable working in a construction environment and able to climb stairs or work at heights as required. The Onsite Health Technician provides patient care, supports workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring, and collaborates

Qualifications

• Must have valid EMT/Paramedic licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive and outgoing personality.
• Willingness to go above and beyond.
• Passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
• Comfortable working in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at the on-site clinic.
• Provide superior service to client and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries per Medcor protocols.
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Document care using EMR and related tools.
• Maintain medical charts and OSHA record-keeping.
