Job summary

The position requires High School graduation, 1 year of related experience, and appropriate licensure or certification as Nurse Aide/EMT/MA, with BLS to be obtained within 6 months

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Typically requires 1 year experience.
• Nurse Aide registration or EMT/Medical Assistant program completion.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers within 6 months unless not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and RNs in providing technical patient care (phlebotomy, transporting, monitors, wound care, lab specimens).
• Documents procedures and communicates observations to the RN.
• Processes daily patient charges through the EHR.
• Coordinates communications (phone, paging, electronic, EMS) to facilitate patient care.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and follows safety policies.
