Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Emergency Department support role to assist physicians and registered nurses with patient care tasks, including phlebotomy, transport, and wound care.

Your duties include documenting procedures in the EHR, communicating observations to the RN, and coordinating all forms of patient-related communications. Requires completion of a nursing aide/EMT/MA program and an active credential as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year experience typical for the role.
• Nurse Aide, EMT or Medical Assistant certification/licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and RNs with patient care tasks.
• Perform phlebotomy, patient transport, and basic wound care.
• Document procedures in the EHR and communicate observations.
• Coordinate communications between departments and EMS.
