Job summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital is seeking a PRN Dual Modality Technologist for mid or night shifts (3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am) to perform X-ray and MRI imaging with attention to patient care in the XRay/MRI department.

The role requires completion of a radiologic technology program, state MRT license in Texas, ARRT MR or ARRT MR with ARMRIT, BLS, and at least two years of multi-modality experience. The team emphasizes safety and quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Associates Degree in Radiology Studies.
• Licensed by the Medical State Board of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT MR, and ARMRIT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Two (2) years of experience in more than one modality.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray and CT imaging equipment as requested.
• Position patients and adjust exposure factors for high-quality images.
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety.
• Document patient care in records and EMR.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inventory checks.
