Job summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital is seeking a Dual Modality Technologist to join our XRay/MRI department, performing physician-requested X-Ray, CT, and fluoroscopy imaging with emphasis on patient care and image quality.

Shifts include Monday 3pm-11pm or Night 11pm-7am. Requires TX MRT license, ARRT MRI or ARMRIT, BLS, and at least two years in multiple modalities. Competitive compensation and commitment to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an Associates Degree in Radiology Studies.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical State Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• ARRT MRI certification or ARRT Radiologic Technologist and ARMRIT MRI technologist credentials.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Two years of experience in more than one modality.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with proper positioning and exposure factors.
• Operate CT and MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
• Distribute films and transfer images to EMR/PACS systems.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and infection-control standards.
• Document patient care and comply with safety policies.
