Job summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital is seeking a Dual Modality Technologist to perform X-ray and CT/MRI imaging in the X-Ray/MRI department. The role requires graduate radiologic training, Texas MRT licensure, ARRT MR or ARRT MR certification, and BLS.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, radiation safety, image quality, and accurate documentation in EMR. The candidate will work with physicians to obtain diagnostic images while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed by the Medical State Board of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• Registered MRI Technologist by the ARRT (MR) or ARRT MR equivalent, and ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for radiologic procedures by positioning and adjusting equipment.
• Minimize radiation exposure through adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain radiology and CT image quality and documentation.
• Document patient care in medical records and EMR.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on radiology equipment.
• Transfer imaging to EMR and coordinate with staff.
• Follow safety and infection-control policies to protect patients and staff.
