Job summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital is seeking a PRN Dual Modality Technologist to support X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy imaging in our XRay/MRI department. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient safety, and efficient patient flow.

The ideal candidate holds MRT licensure in Texas, ARRT MR (or ARRT Radiologic Technologist) certification, ARMRIT credentials, and BLS. Two-plus years in multiple modalities are preferred, with hospital experience preferred and flexibility for PRN shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an Associates Degree in Radiology Studies.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• Registered MRI Technologist by the ARRT (MR) or Registered Radiologic Technologist by ARRT.
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARMRIT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Two years of experience in more than one modality.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray, CT and fluoroscopy imaging according to physician orders.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Protect patients by using radiation safety and infection-control practices.
• Transfer images to EMR and coordinate with radiology staff to ensure timely patient care.
