Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is a must.
• Got training as a Medical Assistant, or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)? Perfect!
• Experience in medical assisting, EMS, or caregiving—awesome! We’d love to hear about it.
• Bonus points for leadership or supervisory experience!
• CPR certified? Great! If not, you’ll need to get it within 90 days.
• Need to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support caregivers by supervising daily living activities per ISPs.
• Maintain proper staffing levels and collaborate with providers.
• Coordinate medication orders and oversee resident assessments during intake.
• Coach and mentor caregivers with hands-on training and feedback.
• Monitor safety and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide hands-on care for ADLs, including bathing, grooming and toileting.
• Support mealtime, helping residents stay hydrated.
• Report condition changes to leadership promptly.

PRN Direct Care Supervisor (CNA/MA)

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour

Description

Schedule: Flexible-Per Diem |Work a minimum of 4 shifts per month, based on needs of the department. Two (2) shifts must be on a weekend.

Shift Premiums: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm $ 1.90 | 10:31 pm - 7:00 am $ 1.35 | Weekend (Fri 10:31 pm - Sun 11:00 pm) $ 1.00

What You'll Do

Join our team as a Direct Care Supervisor, where you'll guide and support caregivers, ensuring our residents receive the compassionate care they deserve. In this role, you’ll be a key resource for your team, providing mentorship, problem-solving, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Support - Supervise caregivers in performing daily living activities based on individualized service plans (ISPs).
• Maintain Smooth Operations - Ensure proper staffing levels and collaborate with providers.
• Coordinate Medication and Care - Process medication orders and oversee resident assessments during intake and admission.
• Coach and Mentor - Provide hands‑on training, feedback, and guidance to caregivers, helping them grow and excel.
• Monitor Safety and Compliance - Review incident reports and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Provide Hands‑On Care - Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support Mealtime - Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes - Report any changes in conditions to the leadership team ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism - Maintain confidentiality while delivering top‑notch care.
