Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, administer IV contrast, and ensure patient safety throughout exams.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification (or NMTCB for nuclear medicine) with CT registry within one year of hire, and BLS certification. This position is PRN/part-time with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate from ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment according to departmental protocols.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare for procedures with explanations.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor patient safety during exams.
• Maintain radiology safety standards and assist in emergencies as needed.
• Document procedures and manage equipment and supplies.
