Job summary

Akumin is seeking a CT Technologist for our South Florida facilities on a PRN basis. You will ensure patient safety, perform high quality CT studies, and communicate with radiologists and staff. Training responsibilities may include mentoring new technologists and Patient Coordinators.

Requirements include ARRT CT registry (or NMTCB in applicable states), state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Evening and weekend shifts may be required as part of a PRN schedule, with benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT-registered CT technologist.
• NMTCB CT acceptable in lieu of ARRT where state allows.
• State license and Medical Imaging license as applicable.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and staff.
• Train new technologists and Patient Coordinators when required.
• Troubleshoot CT scanners and peripheral equipment.
