Akumin is hiring a CT Technologist for its South Florida facilities on a PRN, part-time basis. The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality CT imaging, and clear communication with radiologists and patients.

Required are a High School diploma, ARRT CT registry (NMTCB acceptable in some states), state license, and CPR certification. Strong customer service and multitasking skills are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• ARRT-registered CT technologist; NMTCB option acceptable in lieu of ARRT in certain states.
• State licensure and CPR certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screen for contraindications to radiation and contrast.
• Produce high-quality CT images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and patients.
• Train new technologists or patient coordinators as needed.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment.
