Job summary

Plan A Health is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in our radiology department. You will perform CT procedures, position patients, administer contrast when needed, and ensure privacy and safety.

You must hold ARRT CT and ARRT Radiography credentials, be proficient with RIS/PACS, and maintain ALARA principles while collaborating with the care team. A minimum of one year radiology experience and completion of an accredited Radiologic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.
• ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures accurately according to departmental guidelines, minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintain cleanliness and infection control, report equipment issues.
• Obtain clinical history, verify patient identity, explain procedures, and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy, administer contrast when needed, and correctly position patients.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat when necessary, and document in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain life-support and crash cart readiness.
• Organize workflow, support departmental operations, transport patients safely, and adhere to regulatory standards.

Position Overview:

The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at a designated health facility. They are integral members of a collaborative care team, performing diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy.

Responsibilities Include

• Performing CT procedures accurately according to departmental guidelines, using technical knowledge to capture diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Operating imaging equipment independently, maintaining cleanliness and infection control, and promptly reporting equipment issues.
• Obtaining clinical history, verifying patient identity, explaining procedures, and addressing patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout exams, administering contrast when needed, and correctly positioning patients.
• Reviewing images for diagnostic quality, repeating procedures if necessary, and completing precise documentation in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and maintaining life-support and crash cart readiness.
• Organizing workflow, supporting departmental operations, transporting patients safely, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills
