Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum one year of radiology experience.
  • Certification: ARRT R (Radiography), ARRT CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.

  • Perform CT exams, obtain clinical history, and verify patient identity and contraindications.
  • Explain procedures using AIDET, ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
  • Administer contrast using sterile techniques, position patients correctly, and apply shielding.
  • Review and correct images, document accurately, and ensure proper finalization in RIS/PACS.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with equipment and supply maintenance.
  • Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and adhere to regulatory standards.

Role Overview

The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at a healthcare facility. They are vital members of a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures following department protocols, and maintaining diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.

Key Responsibilities
