Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC is seeking a Cat Scan Tech (CT Tech) to join our imaging team. You will review orders, educate patients, administer contrast as appropriate, monitor patients, and ensure image quality.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT certification/registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders.

• Administer contrast media and/or medications as appropriate.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies.
• Ensure safety standards and perform QC on equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
