Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is seeking a CT Tech at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, North Carolina. The role involves performing imaging procedures, educating patients, and ensuring equipment safety and quality control. The position offers a $10,000 commitment bonus for a 2-year commitment and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and mental wellness programs.

Ideal candidates will have an ARRT registration, Basic Life Support certification, and preferably some experience. This is a full-time position scheduled for weekends.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required.
• Basic Life Support certification needed within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications when ordered.
• Monitor patient condition and report/respond to changes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and resolve image quality issues.

CT Tech (CT Tech) at Haywood Regional Medical Center

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., Monday 8:30 a.m.–9:00 a.m. with call rotation.

Commitment Bonus

$10,000 Commitment Bonus with a 2-year commitment.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies.
• Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedure(s).
• Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
• Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.

Qualifications

• 2-year certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree and current ARRT registration.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
