Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a CT Tech (PRN) to support imaging services in Clyde, North Carolina. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the imaging team to deliver accurate diagnoses.

The ideal candidate holds a 2-year certificate/associate or bachelor’s degree, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with 1 year of experience preferred. Join a patient-focused, growth-minded department.

Qualifications

• 2-year certificate/associate/bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• 1 year of experience in imaging preferred

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media within scope.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control on equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions.
• Positions patient and performs CT procedures.
• Analyzes results and addresses image quality issues.

Education

Associate/Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology

ARRT certification

BLS certification

1 year imaging experience (preferred)
