Atrium Health in High Point, NC seeks a CRNA (PRN) for an outpatient GI clinic at Quaker Lane. You will provide anesthesia in a collaborative setting and may precept anesthesia students.

Requirements include NC RN license, accredited Nurse Anesthesia program graduate, NBCRNA certification, NC CRNA licensure, and BLS/ACLS. Competitive hourly pay and access to Advocate Health benefit programs offered within a large integrated system.

• Current North Carolina RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
• National Board certification as a CRNA.

Responsabilités

• Precept Student Nurse Anesthetists - mentorship and assessment.
• Determine appropriate patient care plan for peri-operative and anesthesia care.
• Collaborate with the medical team for effective team-based care and uphold patient safety.
• Document and maintain patient records per hospital standards and confidentiality.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to deliver timely patient care and show professional teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists - opportunity to mentor and assess these medical students.
• Uses medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan to ensure peri-operative and anesthesia care, being sensitive to co-morbidities and age & developmental guidelines.
• Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care; Uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives.
• Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards, ensuring confidentiality.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.
• Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing professional development
• Contribute to cost containment efforts by conserving resources.

The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution.

Training and/or Experience Required

Candidate Requirements:

• Current North Carolina RN license
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia
• National Board certification as a CRNA
• Current North Carolina CRNA licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
