Job summary

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
• National Board certification as a CRNA
• Current North Carolina CRNA licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during procedures.
• Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists.
• Use medical decision-making to determine appropriate patient care plan for peri-operative and anesthesia care.
• Collaborate with medical team for team-based care; uphold patient safety and quality improvement.
• Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards; ensure confidentiality.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.
• Exhibit professionalism through teamwork and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to cost containment by conserving resources.
• Operate under licensing regulations with department-specific credentialing.
