Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes, promoting independence and safe daily functioning. This PRN role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for COTAs seeking work-life balance or additional income.

You will work under the supervising OT, treating ADLs and functional tasks, with emphasis on safety and home exercise program reinforcement. Travel to Rockwall, TX area is required.

Qualifications

Active Texas COTA license (required).
Home health experience preferred.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently in a home setting.
Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety.
Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
