Job summary

Varco Home Health in El Paso is seeking a dedicated PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one home health therapy under a supervising OT.

You’ll assess ADLs, support independence, educate families, and document progress. A Texas COTA license is required; home health experience and EMR skills are a plus. Flexible, field-based role with reliable schedule and steady patient volume.

Qualifications

• Texas COTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
