Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients\' homes in the Houston area. You will follow plans under the supervision of an OT, assist with ADLs, safety, and home exercises, and document progress.

Ideal candidates have a Texas COTA license, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a home setting. Transportation and a valid driver\'s license are required, with opportunities for flexible, self-managed scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with ADLs, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
