Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a dedicated PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes, focusing on improving independence and safe daily activities. You'll visit Fort Worth-area patients on a flexible, self-managed schedule, documenting progress and coordinating with supervising OT.

Texas licensure and reliable transportation are required; home health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas COTA license and be in good standing.
• Home health experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and patient-care mindset required; ability to work independently in patients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
