Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare seeks a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes across Lubbock, TX. You will implement plans under supervision and help patients perform ADLs safely.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, educating patients and caregivers, and ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care with flexible scheduling for work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with ADLs, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
