Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one home therapy, supporting patients to improve daily living activities and independence. You’ll work under an OT, deliver ADL-focused care, and reinforce home programs.

The role requires a Texas COTA license, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in patients’ homes. EMR experience is a plus, and transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
