Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver one-on-one OT services in patients' homes in the Lubbock, TX area. You will work under an OT, support ADLs, functional training, and home programs, and document progress.

The role emphasizes independence, strong communication, and reliable transportation. Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience is a plus, and a Texas COTA license is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas COTA license.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
