Job summary

The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team under RN supervision.

This on-site role offers flexible shifts, weekend and holiday differentials, and the opportunity to contribute to a compassionate care environment while complying with infection prevention and PPE policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• CNA certification with state board required or in training per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Assist with mobility including transfers and positioning.
• Support dining and hydration needs; assist with meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and contribute to infection prevention practices.
