Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society provides resident-centered care in our long-term care setting, supporting daily living activities under RN supervision. You will assist with bathing, meals, mobility, and vital sign checks, while maintaining infection control and delivering compassionate support to residents and families.

Qualifications

• CNA Certification required or in process
• Minimum age 16
• 12 hours continuing education annually
• Satisfactorily completes competency testing and maintains certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Assist with meals and dining, monitor intake and hydration
• Document care provided and report changes to charge nurse
