Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT in skilled nursing facilities.

New grads are welcome. NBCOT certification on hire is preferred, with active state licensure and CPR certification; 1 year experience is a plus. The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional going forward
Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

Follow occupational treatment plans for patients under the direction of the supervising OT
Chart appropriately and timely
Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
Understand and follow Life Care policies and compliance procedures
