Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a PRN COTA to provide direct rehab care under supervision of an OT. The role requires NBCOT certification, an active state license, and CPR at hire. New grads welcome and 1 year experience preferred.

The COTA will participate in community health matters, use MS Word/Excel, and coordinate with patients, families, and staff to plan for patient needs while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with Life Care standards.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional
• Graduate of accredited OT program (ASOT)
• Current active state license in good standing
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation

Responsibilities

• Follow OT treatment plans under supervising OT
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Utilize therapy software appropriately
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
