Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a COTA to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will support long-term and post-acute patients in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

The role requires NBCOT certification on hire, an active state license, and an ASOT degree, with CPR certification current. Prior OT assistant experience is preferred, and Life Care offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional thereafter.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (ASOT).
• Licensed/registered in the applicable state; active license required.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation and kept current.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans under the supervising OT.
• Chart accurately and timely patient progress.
• Utilize therapy software correctly and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism with patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and collaboration.
