Job summary

MBK Senior Living seeks a compassionate PRN Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, mobility, and safety. You will follow care plans, document changes, and collaborate with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ or valid work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurses Aide certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Health screening and negative TB test within 6 months.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; on-the-job training available.
• Must read and speak English and follow oral/written directions.
• Ability to interact with diverse ages and backgrounds.
• Must meet state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene, meals, and activities.
• Assist at mealtime with serving and clearing.
• Transport residents safely to meals/activities according to procedures.
• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Encourage participation in daily activities.
• Lead residents in meaningful activities.
• Handle laundry and routine community duties.
• Manage oxygen equipment per MD orders.
• Document information and report changes to supervisor.
• Respond to resident alerts and emergencies.
• Assist with safety drills.
