Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will care for patients with burn injuries from admission through healing, collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary staff to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a Level II trauma setting.

The role requires an Associate Degree and nursing license, with ACLS and BLS to be obtained within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• ACLS to be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• BLS to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN licensed to practice in the state of employment

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout care journey
• Deliver advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitor responses and fluid therapy, and promote healing and comfort
• Educate and support patients and families with compassion to navigate recovery
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care tailored to needs
