Job summary

Cognito LLC, a Planned Systems International joint venture, seeks a PRN Behavioral Health Technician to support IHSC at the Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe, TX. The role delivers mental health screening, patient care management, and psycho-educational groups under the supervision of a Behavioral Health Provider.

As a civilian contractor, you will assist with data entry in eHR, coordinate follow-up care, and maintain safety and confidentiality per HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in behavioral science or related field.
• Two years of mental health clinic or residential healthcare experience.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen; immunizations current.
• Proficient with HIPAA/Privacy Act and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health screenings and patient care management.
• Facilitate basic psycho-educational groups and education.
• Coordinate follow-up care and document in eHR.
• Monitor safety, observe behavior, and support group activities.
• Assist with crisis management and interdisciplinary collaboration.
