Job summary

Affiliated Oncologists seeks a PRN Admixture Tech to join our clinic admixture room under direct supervision of a physician. You will prepare and admix medications, verify orders, and ensure accurate documentation and temperature logs in accordance with OSHA guidelines.

This role supports inventory control, prepares labels, assists with billing, and maintains sterile technique and sanitation in the admixture area. Minimum 1–2 years IV experience and a High School diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years IV experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing medications under supervision of a physician.
• Check all orders for completeness of information.
• Verify patient information and proper physician authorization.
• Under direct supervision, admixes drugs as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner as per department guidelines.
