Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years pharmacy experience with IV skills.
• IV certification preferred; technician license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medication orders by compounding or admixing under physician supervision.
• Verifies patient information and physician authorization.
• Checks orders for insurance approval and maintains proper logs.
• Calculates dosage volumes and maintains all required records.
• Maintains drug information and MSDS sheets; disposes materials per policy.
• Maintains temperature logs and inventory control of medications.
