Job summary

Tennessee Cancer Specialists is seeking an Admixture Technician to prepare sterile IV infusions for our outpatient infusion clinic. You will work with nurses and pharmacists to ensure accurate dosing and timely treatment for our patients.

The role requires standing, manual dexterity, and attention to detail. You will log inventory, follow quality and safety standards, and use EMR systems to document workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and pharmacy certification or licensure.
• At least one year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• IV mixing experience is a plus and can be taught.

Responsibilities

• Mix sterile IV infusions according to safety and quality standards.
• Accurately calculate dosage volumes for physician orders.
• Log and date inventory, maintain control documents, ensure adequate drug supplies.
• Navigate EMR systems and apply relevant USP 800 standards.
• Support nursing staff and pharmacists as needed with a proactive work ethic.
