You will lead a team, coordinate with Avon Fire & Rescue Service and the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, and focus on enforcing housing and fire safety improvements.

The role involves strong leadership, strategic partnerships, and development of enforcement actions to accelerate remediation across Bristol and beyond.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of private housing, construction and fire safety.
• Experience with enforcement actions and legal processes.

Responsabilités

• Oversee identification and assessment of high- and mid-rise residential buildings requiring enforcement.
• Take informal and formal enforcement actions using relevant legal powers.
• Liaise with Avon Fire & Rescue Service Fire Safety Officers.
• Develop and lead remediation initiatives across Bristol.
