Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies seeks aSenior Fire Protection Engineer to prepare Building Code and Life Safety analyses and to design fire protection systems for a range of DoW facilities, using AutoCAD, RFPs, specifications, and cost estimates. You will evaluate existing buildings and egress, recommending improvements and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Required: ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering, at least 5 years in fire protection design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ABET-accredited Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering program.
• Minimum of 5 years of Fire Protection System design, including 1 year on Federal Capital Improvement projects.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Building Code and Life Safety analyses; design with AutoCAD, RFPs, specs and cost estimates for DoW facilities.
• Analyze egress and occupancy; identify deficiencies and coordinate with in-house and A&E teams for projects.
