Job summary

Ark Workplace Risk is seeking a Lead Fire Safety Consultant to deliver GOLD standard fire safety solutions in Building Safety Assurance. The role focuses on building safety case reports, advisory work with competent persons, and communication with external clients, with hybrid work and limited travel.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in fire safety management, high-rise risk assessment, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, contributing to client confidence under Building

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and report writing ability.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions for our clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and report writing ability as well as a comprehensive understanding of current UK regulations.

Responsibilities

• Developing building safety case reports.
• Building safety advisory, in collaboration with other competent persons.
• Review fire strategies and fire management plans.
• Undertake other types of risk-based assignments within your competence level.
• Use standards appropriate to conform to the correct Fire Related building regulations and safety standards.
• Provide a practical and methodical approach to solving problems relating to fire safety of sites.
• Report writing using easy to use software solutions.
• Attend and keep up to date with your CPD personal development plans, updates and courses as directed by the company (Ark funds courses to increase your certification and knowledge).
