Job summary

Denver Botanic Gardens is seeking a Full Time Venue Sales Associate in the Events Department to represent our offerings and drive private event sales. You will lead sales tours, implement departmental strategies, and oversee event execution from inquiry to completion.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, a flexible schedule, and the ability to manage multiple large events simultaneously. Travel up to 10% is required, and comprehensive benefits accompany employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospitality and/or recreation industry experience.
• Experience including venue sales and hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage account details, contracts, and revenue goals for on-site events.
• Serve as the on-site venue representative for guests and clients.
• Coordinate client meetings, site visits, and event execution from inquiry to close.
• Create proposals, contracts, and detailed floorplans for clients.
• Ensure events run smoothly and safely, addressing issues promptly.
