Job summary

Denver Botanic Gardens in Denver, CO seeks a Full Time Venue Sales Associate in our Events Department to represent our offerings to guests and prospective clients, selling and executing private events held at the Gardens.

The role leads sales tours, supports the deployment of departmental sales strategies from inquiry to close, and coordinates meetings, site visits, and detailed proposals, contracts and floorplans.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent organizational skills and extreme attention to detail with verbal and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn complex software systems quickly and thoroughly is required.
• Must be comfortable working in an open office environment.
• Must have a flexible schedule with availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sell and execute private events held at the Gardens.
• Lead sales tours of the facility and assist with sales strategies from inquiry to close.
• Coordinate client meetings, site visits, walk-throughs, and event execution.
• Create proposals, contracts, and detailed floorplans for clients.
• Ensure on-site oversight of events and coordinate with vendors and security as needed.
