Job summary

Denver Botanic Gardens is seeking a Full Time Venue Sales Associate in our Events Department to sell and execute private events at the Gardens. You will lead sales tours, help implement departmental sales strategies, and guide inquiries from initial contact to contract close.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple events, with availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in hospitality/recreation.
• Experience in venue sales and hospitality preferred.
• Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts, contracts, and revenue goals, including on-site sales calls.
• Represent on-site at events and coordinate meetings, site visits, and floorplans.
• Develop proposals, contracts, and detailed event floorplans for clients.
• Ensure events run smoothly per contracts and Gardens policies; coordinate deliveries.
