Job summary

Denver Botanic Gardens in Denver, CO seeks a Full Time Manager of Donor Engagement and Events to lead donor relations, oversee fundraising and major events like the annual gala, Fête des Fleurs, and the Spring Plant Sale Preview Party.

You will coordinate with the development team, CEO, volunteers, vendors, and sponsors to design engaging donor experiences, drive membership upgrades, and advance the Gardens’ corporate fundraising strategy.

Qualifications

• Requires experience working with volunteers, vendors and sponsors for successful event delivery.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on sales.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for public engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, cultivate and engage donors and prospects.
• Oversee fundraising, volunteer committees, and events (gala, Fête des Fleurs, Spring Plant Sale Preview Party).
• Coordinate with development team, CEO and external vendors for event execution and donor experiences.
• Support overall corporate fundraising strategy and cross-department collaboration.
