Deercreek Country Club in Jacksonville, FL, part of Heritage Golf Group, seeks a Private Events Director to lead weddings, social events, corporate functions, and golf outings, from inquiry to execution.

You will drive revenue by developing sales and marketing plans, building a strong client pipeline, and coordinating with F&B, Golf Operations, and Marketing to deliver exceptional, seamless events in a private club setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of catering, hospitality, or private event sales experience.
• Proven success in weddings, social events, corporate functions, and golf outings.
• Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business for weddings, social events, corporate functions, and golf outings.
• Develop and execute quarterly sales and marketing plans to meet revenue goals.
• Prospect local corporations, nonprofits, associations, and partners to build pipeline.
• Represent the Club at events to generate leads and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with Membership to identify opportunities and engage new Members.
• Manage the full event sales lifecycle: tours, proposals, contracts, planning, and execution.
• Build relationships with clients to ensure successful events and repeat business.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage and Golf Operations to deliver seamless events.
• Identify opportunities to upsell food, beverage, and enhancements.
• Partner with Marketing to promote events via digital channels and campaigns.
• Support open houses and showcase events.
• Maintain relationships with local vendors, venues, and tourism groups.
• Maintain a robust CRM activity log and sales pipeline.
• Prepare reports on activity, pace, and revenue performance.
• Ensure contracts and billing documentation are accurate and timely.
